Rotary Shoebox Scheme 2021

Sandon School have been busy collecting items for the Rotary Shoebox Scheme.

The scheme is run by the Rotary Club where shoeboxes are filled with various gifts for disadvantaged children and adults in Eastern Europe.

The Rotary Club do so much for us as a school and it is good to give something back. As you can see the pupils all enjoyed decorating and filling the boxes.

A big thank you to all parents/carers and staff that supported us by contributing gifts or donating money to help us purchase items and/or pay for the postage of the boxes.

A special thank you to the Maltings Dental Practice for their very kind donation of toothpaste.

Many donations also came into Ambergate Sports College. We were very keen to support this cause as The Rotary have been such a great support to us, as well as Sandon.

In total Ambergate sent off 20 full boxes. We would also like to thank everyone who donated to the cause.
