Flower Festival – all welcome!

GANF pupils were asked to design posters for the Wyville Flower Festival this year.

The pupils loved getting creative and came up with some amazing designs. The pupils all voted for their favourite three entries and then the team at Wyville chose one to represent this year’s event.

They chose 13-year-old, Laura Crowther’s design. Well done to Laura! Here is her creation:

Wyville Flower Festival is being held at St Catherine’s Church, Wyville, Grantham, NG32 1AW, on Saturday 1^st June, 2pm-5pm.

This is a FREE family event, and all are welcome.

• Games and activities.
• Children are invited to bring jam jar posies and/or shoebox gardens, to decorate the church windows. Small prizes will be given for winning entries.
• Adults are invited to bring larger arrangements. Again, a prize for the winning entry. (Please can all larger flower arrangements be delivered to the church between 9am and 10.30am on the morning of the event).
• We are also holding a scone competition. There will be prizes for the best batch of 6 scones (5 of which will then be served to visitors). There will be adult and child categories.

Cream teas will be served in the Village Hall during the afternoon, as well as cakes, soft drinks, tea and coffee.
