Artsmark

Artsmark is an award presented by Arts Council England, it enables settings to develop their Arts and Cultural provision. Since beginning our journey in December 2018, we have undertaken lots of exciting projects. Artsmark provided every pupil with an opportunity to engage with authentic Arts and Cultural experiences. Pupil responses and feedback have been extremely positive. One of the projects enabled us to further revise our curriculum alongside Music professionals, so we can offer more first-hand experiences. Artsmark helped us to form more connections with local Arts Centres too, enabling us to perform on professional stages!


Some of our projects included: EVOLVE – Pupils from Sandon and Ambergate produced their own pantomime.
Together through Music – Musicians delivered class music sessions.
Art Gallery – Every pupil created a framed piece of work which was displayed in our school gallery and could be purchased.
Christmas cards – Every pupil made a Christmas card to be professionally printed.
Circus skills – A circus performer did a workshop for all classes
UNIFY – Dance project performed at the Lincoln Drill Hall
