Panathlon

On Thursday 30th January, GANF pupils participated alongside 7 other schools in a Panathlon Event at Grantham Tennis Centre organised by the School Games.

The pupils participated in a variety of different sporting activities, including football, target throw, boccia, new age kurling, basketball shot and bowling.

The pupils displayed great sportsmanship and thoroughly enjoyed being part of this inclusive event. Ambergate Campus took both a KS2 and KS3/4 teams with 8 pupils in each, Sandon Campus took a KS3 team of 5 pupils.

Miss Hudson said that each pupil showed great determination and pride in representing the school, trying their best throughout all of the activities.

Each pupil came away with a well deserved medal and a smile on their faces.

This event is something we will be participating in again, and we would like to thank inspire+ who ran the activities.

Our next event is New Age Kurling for KS2/3 on the 12th February at Kings School Sports Centre.
